This is a short description of a sough-after area where Z2labs has accumulated experience.
This story is about full HW development, where of course we had to do our own troubleshooting. The application is multiple radio receivers running parallel with coherent LOs. We got involved in HW development of such applications a few times. Final application of such radio receiver arrangements might be signal source detection or radar.
Key challenges we learned to overcome were the phase coherent distribution of oscillator and calibration signals on relatively big PCBs. We managed to well-control these parameters and produced working PCBs with very few HW iterations on a number of occasions.
